I believe I have to thank Dr Karin because she put me on to regular Mammograms .Not something I would think about .I went to a different gp but kept up the tests. It saved my life. I didn't feel a lump and have had triple negative breast cancer. And I have since found out a genetic mutation which makes memore susceptible to breast cancer , called palb 2 . They found it really early, but triple negative is really aggressive, I have had a year of treatment. I have almost finished , but it could have been much worse

If you can, go somewhere else. Karin Jon Sarkis is the worst GP I have ever seen. I only go to the doctor because I need to get a repeat script every 6 months for a medication I will be on for the rest of my life (to treat an inherited blood condition). I deliberately book the last appointment of the day, but even when I turn up late, I'm still made to wait for upwards of 1&1/2 hours with multiple people waiting to go in when I arrive, and still more coming in after I get there. 2 hour wait with no communication from receptionist with my 80+ year old mother. Clinic moved from bulk billing and the offer was to pay $200 for the year, whether one appointment or many.

I've now been seeing Dr Sarkis for a few years and can I tell you I wish I found her way earlier then I did. A lot of my medical conditions can't be seen and a lot of drs would tell me it is in my head. By the time I had found Dr Sarkis I was extremely defeated. Not only did she believe me she actually cares very much and she works so incredibly hard for us. She is an amazing Dr. She listens, she helps in any way she can and is so thorough with everything on each appointment never rushing you. She is great with my teenage so... read more
