Lovely staff and excellent vets I can trust. I have been two other local vets with not so great experiences. The vets here take the time to answer my questions and don’t make me feel like I’m being rushed out the door. My pups love them.

Many years ago, Jim hospitalized our English black lab Sparky. She was not acting herself and was not presenting with any symptoms except just “dumpy”. Over about 8 hrs of observation, her white blood count skyrocketed to over 30,000 and she became septic. Jim did emergency exploratory surgery on her and found her uterus full of pus( a pyometra) in clinical terms. Jim knows so much about animals and blends modalities seamlessly. Our pets like him as much as we do. We like to use non-pharmaceutical supports whenever possible, and Jim is conversant with natural techniques and "alternative" products. He spends a good amount of time with us at each visit, and is always helpful - as is his staff. We drive over 45 minutes each way to The Country Vet even though there are several good vets within 15 minutes of our home.
I love The Country Vet and every caring person who works there. Dr. Kat is wonderful, knowledgeable, and kind. She takes great care of my boy Charlie.
