The Cottages of Meridian has the best staff and really care for their residents. My mother passed away yesterday and had been failing for a few days. It happened so fast. They were amazing! They checked on her every couple of hours and loved my mom. The manager, Heather, made a little snack and water cart and put it in her room for the family. She is alway on top of everything. My Mom was so well taken care of I could travel without worries knowing she is in great hands. So many beautiful activities including music, dance, outings and games. They quickly figured out mom wanted and demanded milk😂. Staff loved and laughed while providing superb care. Heather manages this facility caring not only for her residents but extends that also to the family. ❤️❤️❤️
If I could give them 10++++stars I would. My family and I just recently lost my beloved grandmother over my spring break and she stayed over at The Cottages for about 3ish years. The staff has been not just kind, but gentle and gracious with my nana even up to her dying days, she even had nurses and staff sit with her so she didn’t feel alone when my dad was at work in her dying days. I love the Cottages, I have worked there for 9 years and intend on being there forever. Our team is top notch and our residents are loved beyond measure ❤️ The activities program is amazing with a variety of activities for everyone to enjoy (including bingo, exercise, movies, trivia,live music, arts and crafts, and much more). The staff is loving, welcoming, and friendly.
We moved my MIL to this location about 2 months ago. She had been in another place is Star for the past year, and we had some concerns. This move was a great decision, and my MIL is really happy! The place is clean, the staff are friendly and caring, and there are many activities (led by Bruce, who is amazing) every week.
