I can't say enough about our exceptional experiences when renting from Mike Walters, which has been a number of times. Everything is first class, from the furnishings to the appliances. Mike has always gone out of his way to make sure our visit is a memorable one. The icing on the cake is the beautiful community of Buck Hill. The amenities are terrific, a Donald Ross golf course, trout fishing streams and a beautiful water fall to name a few. Definitely, a five star experience!
Just finished my first rental with Mike and I can only say the best things about Mike and The Cottages. I looked at several of his homes, and all were well decorated and absolutely spotless. Buck Hill itself has excellent facilities amid a beautiful setting. Plus Mike is incredibly accommodating, getting us additional chairs for a dinner we had. I intend to rent from him in the future.
My family and I have rented in Buck Hill on several occasions--sometimes an older cottage and sometimes one of the new townhomes on the golf course. This July it was only my wife and myself, and we had one of the latter on Oak Hill Drive. Efverything from arrival to departure worked wonderfully. Nicely equipped, neat as a pin, and the couple of very minor issues that arose in the course of three weeks were quickly and professionally dealt with by Mike Walters and his staff. We rented from Mike Walters for 4 weeks over the summer of 2015. We had the most wonderful time in Buck Hill Falls, and our family LOVED the home we stayed in on Beatty Circle. It was perfect for us and our three little kids. The layout of the house was ideal for a family of our size and we spent a lot of time playing in the incredible, large flat yard. The Cottages at Buck Hill Falls was a wonderful place to stay. We were attending a wedding nearby and rented a cottage last June. The furnishings were lovely and the entire house was very well equipped. It was also located a short walk from some amazing hiking trails that we were able to enjoy. Mike Walters was very accommodating and made sure our stay was great. I would definitely rent there again in the future.
We have rented from Mike Walters for the last 3 summers, as well as, my niece's wedding and Thanksgiving get a-ways. Each visit has been extremely pleasant. Each cottage was very clean and nicely furnished. I also have been very impressed with Mike. He has always returned our call if we need something. This past summer we ran out of gas for our grill, with the chicken half cooked, and he had a new gas tank over in 10 minutes!! That is service! Our family and friends stayed in several of the cottages during a most important event , which was the wedding of our son and daughter-in-law. Our group included friends and family members from various states and countries. We were so pleased by the beautiful interiors, spacious rooms, cleanliness and comforts we found in each of the different cottages that we rented.
