Love love love this location. The whole house was always so warm and welcoming to come back to. We were greeted with a bottle of local wine, which was thoughtful. Towel warmers were a big plus. The gardens were about four times the size I was expecting! Just some feedback! the water bottle provided doesn’t fit anywhere to fill it up again. Recently stayed at The Corinda Collection after it joined the World of Hyatt program after Hyatt acquired the Mr & Mrs Smith group. Located in a quiet residential area of Hobart, it is a beautiful old home that offers an unique experience that is warm, homestead kind of feel. The room I had was very large and I liked the room key which was an old fashioned large key that matches the style of the rest of the property. What a fantastic place Corinda was. The rooms were spacious, beautifully prepared and luxurious. We had a great time staying the three nights, Julian and the team were very welcoming and assisted us with any questions. Location was perfect. Just outside the CBD, easy walk into town and all the restaurants etc.
We stayed in the Gardeners Cottage, which was so quaint - the features are just as shown on website, the old timbers just so authentic and very cosy. I think she’s due for a deep clean, possibly a lick of paint and Timber cabinets restored, but if you want to stay somewhere in the heart of Hobart this is a great choice, we were not disappointed.
Consistently excellent. We’ve stayed at the Corinda Collection several times across their rooms, pavilions, and cottages, and every visit has been outstanding. The team is warm, communicative, and highly professional. The main house, honour bar, and beautifully maintained gardens are always a highlight. We look forward to our next stay!
