My son and I stayed at this hotel for five nights at the beginning of December, and it was a wonderful experience. The timing was perfect — warm, sunny days, and the garden coming into full bloom. Hundreds of beautiful roses in different colours made the grounds feel truly magical. A place full of stories! The moment you step through the door your are embraced and brought back in time. The location is great, just 10-15 min walk to the habour area and Mona ferry. The breakfast is super! Thank You Julian and team Corinda for making our time in Hobart so special!
We stayed at the Gardener’s Cottage for two nights, and it was an absolute delight. The garden is beautiful, and the hedge topped with animal figures completely captivated my five-year-old. I especially loved how the renovation thoughtfully preserved the original character of the cottage—details like the old iron toilet cistern, the wooden floors, and the windows add so much charm. a beautiful small boutique hotel. everywhere you turn there is something interesting to see. the gardens are delightful. we had the most delicious breakfasts serviced by lovely people in the gorgeous sun filled terrace. the owners are friendly and made us feel very welcome. we really enjoyed the comfortable guests bar with its honesty system. everything was perfect
Can't recommend this place highly enough. Stunning old house and gardens. Owners very helpful and responsive. Breakfast was great. We stayed in Old Servants Quarters which was like almost like a separate little house, very comfortable and memorable place to stay. We hope to return one day, thank you.
