Always a solid place to go, been here a hundred times at least over the years.
The food was excellent but it was a good value for the money. Making online reservations was simple and quick. Well we're warmly greeted and but then amended sitting at the table. The server came by take our drink orders and make us feel welcome. The background level of the talking and noise was a bit louder than I'm used to, but that was the only thing that wasn't five star.
We came for a birthday celebration. Ordered lots of appetizers and entree. The favorite is the burrata. Then the rest were ok. The tuna poke needs more dressing. All the dishes were beautifully presented.
It's okay. If you're shopping at the mall, it's a perfectly good place for lunch or dinner. It's not as nice as the former Lafayette location and I wouldn't go out of my way to go there.
Great open air atmosphere, extremely friendly staff, and very good food. I particularly enjoyed the tuna tartar and the chicken parm. This will definitely become a staple in our Walnut Creek rotation.
