My husband and I have been living here for a year and we absolutely love it. The staff and the doormen/women are wonderful. The building is dog-friendly. It feels very safe and the amenities are great. I think the only complaint I have is that the outside walk area by the river/Harrison (where the white seats are) can have sketchy people around. This is not the fault of The Cooper, however.
If you’re looking to move in to a good apartment in the South Loop of Chicago and are considering The Cooper, I’d highly recommend renting with them. My husband and I have both absolutely enjoyed living there. The property as such is located at a lovely spot right by the South Bank Park, overlooks the river and also provides beautiful views of the city. The Cooper has some top notch amenities. I was a tenant at The Cooper from 2023-2025. I could tell you all about the amenities, location, fixtures, etc., but the staff really made my living experience. What you feel in the leasing office extends well beyond Day 1, Week 1, Month 1... The building is always clean and well taken care of.
