I've had pleasant memories living here over the years but my move out process left me a bad experience and I wanted to share with the current and future residents considering to move here. There are just so many third party junk fees and services they use that are mandatory. One time utility setup fee when moving in, monthly utility processing fee (separate from the utility package fee), one time utility close out fee when moving out. What was once a good experience has now soured into a frustrating one. I’ve lived at the Cooper for over two years and towards the end, it has been nearly unbearable to live here. This building constantly has elevator issues. Weeks went by with only two elevators working (one of them is often reserved for moving residents). As a result, there were 10 people waiting for one elevator, causing safety concerns. At one point, you couldn’t access the first floor at all because the elevators were down. I lived at The Cooper from 2024 to 2025, and overall, I had a great experience. The building is beautiful, very well maintained, and I especially loved the amenities. The management team was always responsive and helpful whenever I needed anything. I also want to recognize Marquis at the front desk and Pedro from the maintenance team. They were always friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful. They truly made living there a better experience.
