DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! I spent almost $9k on a brand new evaporative cooler. I was never instructed on the proper shut down for winter, I was never contacted following the installation to discuss proper shutdown in the Fall. Now my 8 month old cooler has multiple parts to replace and they are taking zero accountability.
The sales force does a great job of selling the Breezair Evaporative Cooler but if you have any issues, get your checkbook out because the company charges for everything. The wall control on my brand new system, installed only 8 months ago, is not “loading” when turned on for the season. The Cooler Company wants to charge a service call of $140 to figure out why. Should be under warranty for something like this!
I had a really good experience several years ago when the Cooler Company installed a BreezeAir evaporative cooler at my old 1950s house. I have had very few problems with the unit, and been able to fix all of them myself. The one time I had problems with an older swamp cooler at a different address, they were happy to service it for me and their pricing was very reasonable.
