I guess first off maybe I just had a bad experience because everyone else here seemed to love the place. I took my girlfriend here for her birthday, neither of us had been before and it looked interesting. Our waitress was super nice and on top of things so for service I give it an A+. As far as food goes both of us were disappointed... it all seemed a bit premade, the fries (while promised to be amazing) fell short of our expectations. Can't say I would go back again.
Good cafe style breakfast I went here for their breakfast and it was surprisingly good. It felt like a small cafe, but the food was much better than expected. Their coffee is particularly good.
The best pita bread; great desserts I've ordered take-out every time I've come here. I usually get pitas to take home and make our own gyros. They have the best pita bread here! Fresh, soft. It complements anything you put in it and makes it taste extra good. The gyros here are delicious, as well, and the variety of greek desserts.
Twenty Years Is how long I've been going to the Continental, and I still love their souvlaki and eggs with Greek fries. The prices don't seem to have changed all that much, either. Just a great neighborhood Greek place.
Great Greek food If you're looking for a place to have authentic Greek food in a coffee shop setting then you have found it! I have eaten here for more than 15 years and the owner remembers me every time I return (even if it has been years between visits) The food is authentic, try the meatballs - they are my favorite!
