Amazing food and wonderful service!
Having read the chef's reply in which he does not assume any responsibility for the disappointing Singapore crab entree, I will now be more direct. The food was extremely disappointing. My wife's duck entree and the appetizer were both mediocre The Singapore crab entree had no more than a teaspoon of crab at most which was smothered in sauce. I had a great time experiencing the Vietnamese menu. I highly recomment the green papaya salad. The Vietnamese drinks were amazing too. Our server was very knowledgeable of the entire menu and was able to guide my friend who was unsure about what to eat. The unexpected star of the meal came at the very end with the 2016 Chateau Canadel from Bandol. It was recommended by the staff amd we were blown away!! The Consulate will definitely be in my resturant rotation.
