Rita is wonderful! A true master of her trade. Knows exactly what she’s doing and is personable and kind while doing it. Can’t wait to go back!
Rita knows the body, both physically and energetically, so well. She is not only an expert in muscles and ligaments, but she will share her enormous energy in every session. That literally rubs off and you feel like her warm hands have imparted healing and well being each time!
I went in for a deep tissue massage. She told me that I needed pins and that would be $20 additional each side. I had thought I would spend $100 but it was $150. And to top it off she didn't even fix the spots that needed to be fixed. Let me go into some more details. I've been getting monthly massages for years elsewhere. Went to see Rita due to shoulder pain. She did a wonderful job relieving the pain in my left shoulder. She has an innate ability to feel the problem area with her hands. I also enjoyed her hot stone treatment. It was very relaxing and warmed my core. I was very satisfied with her treatment.
Based on reviews I booked an appt with the Comfort Place. I was in so much lower back pain. In 60 minutes, I walked out, not only committed to Rita as a massage therapist and healer, but pain free. She’s a treasure—and I’m so grateful she’s here in SW Portland.
