Based on reviews I booked an appt with the Comfort Place. I was in so much lower back pain. In 60 minutes, I walked out, not only committed to Rita as a massage therapist and healer, but pain free. She’s a treasure—and I’m so grateful she’s here in SW Portland.

My hips and shoulder have been tight lately due to a lot of sitting and driving. Rita had very last minute availability to help me and she did a fantastic job loosening everything up with firm pressure and relaxing, targeted strokes. Thank you so much Rita!!
Rita is a true healer. Her hands talk to your body. You don't even need to tell her what bothers you, she just finds it. She has a delightful quirk - she likes to give you a massage that she knows will help you, which might not always be what you had in mind. Listen to her. Deep work cannot be hurried. I used to wake up with headaches more often than I want to remember. Her massage changed that. I cannot recommend her enough. Thank you, Rita!
