First time visiting here for a haircut and I had a super pleasant, relaxed, and comfortable service. Very pretty salon! The owner and staff were all very friendly and kind. I was so happy to meet Louis the dog and had the pleasure of holding him while I got my hair done. I loved it! Dee did a wonderful job with my haircut/style, and I will for sure be coming back in again! Thank you so much!
I had a such great experience at The Color Bar! Dee is known for her beautiful balayage and blondes, but I came in wanting a full black colour with a gloss treatment and it turned out exactly how I wanted. She’s truly a colour expert! I was also so happy with the blowout — my hair looked and felt amazing. Highly recommend!
I can’t get enough of this place! The decor is so pretty and pink! The vibe and owner is just so welcoming. Got my roots and a blow out done, definitely going back. Thanks Dee! So happy to stumble upon this place. 10/10!
UPDATE: Beware of Booking with Dee I’m updating my review because I now have significant breakage and damage throughout my hair after years of having my highlights done here. My new hairstylist was shocked by the condition of my hair, and I’m now dealing with damage that will take a long time to grow out. What is most upsetting is that my hair was always healthy, strong, and long before I became a client here. I never experienced this level of damage with any of my previous hairstylists. Julia was such a kind and talented stylist. I had long dry hair with year old blond highlights and she got my hair to look so healthy AND to the pink and blonde I wanted. Such a friendly stylist that helped me feel heard and comfortable.
