The food here is pretty average overall, and honestly it seems to depend entirely on which chef is working that day. Sometimes everything is delicious, and other times the food is so bad it’s hard to eat. The last hot chocolate I ordered tasted nothing like chocolate — more like weak watered-down cocoa. Overall, it’s quite a nice place for drinks and desserts, but I probably wouldn’t recommend it for main meals. Although to be fair, the Big Breakfast is actually quite good.
Ordered long black on 16.4.26! The price was incorrect and when I asked why it turned out that they had put the order through as a hot chocolate. It appeared evident that staff were careless with orders to the point of extremely poor customer service!
I recently visited The Coffee Club at Cairns Central and was really disappointed. The food was below standard – my meal arrived lukewarm and tasted bland, as if it had been sitting out for a while. The coffee was watery, and quite bland, I sure one of your workers put a splash of tap water into a takeaway.
