We have been here several times. The food is great and they have fantasic food specials! The only issue is the staff member Betsy who is super rude. She barely acknowledges patrons, a hi or I'll be right with you would go a long way, as well as letting people know that when they cash out the doors lock and you can't get into the elevator to get down to your car from the outside. I’m almost hesitant to write this because I don’t want it to get too crowded, but The Kitchen at Torrey Pines and The Clubhouse deserve the love. We live nearby and have been coming for almost a year, and everything has been consistently great. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is beautiful with ocean views, and the staff is genuinely friendly. Chef Fernando is always welcoming, and the team is very accommodating when we bring our kids. The location was a little bit difficult to find, but once you’re there, everyone is super welcoming and helps to get you to this location. I went to one building found parking but then couldn’t access the elevator because you need a badge. Eventually I found my way in. I ordered their speciality latte, but they were all out of their mocha flavor so they gave me a mocha syrup instead. It was a really yummy latte.
