Words are inadequate in expressing how important our time at ‘The Club’ was for us. My husband was waiting for surgery (9 weeks) to have a shunt placed in his brain to relieve pressure. I was still working full time but finding it very difficult to work because of my husband’s confusion related to the head pressure. I reached out to Hillcrest, and Angie and her team were immediately available. He attended ‘The Club’ 3 days/ week. Caring staff, variety of activities, and welcome atmosphere encourage friendship among members here.
The staff at the Club made my wife feel not only welcome, but also useful! They realized she liked to help others, so the created opportunities for her to do this. It gave her a sense of purpose. This is just one of the many things I deeply appreciated about the Club!!
Mable Rose was a life saver for us! A great place to leave mom so we could get respite and know she was well cared for. And she certainly was well cared for! The staff was friendly and supportive.
