Hmm Cindy are you sure you went to this clinic?? Because I had a very different experience than you and your husband, I too saw Jerry and he was so very thorough and very empathetic towards my issue. He listened to everything I had to say and put my worried mind at ease. He knows what he is doing, and for a Nurse Practitioner he is more passionate about the care for his patients than any doctor i have seen in the past. Highly recommend if you are wanting a physician who actually cares!! :)
They double charged me and lied to me about it. They then spent months playing games and not handling the charges and sent them to a collection company. The doctor was a joke and spent most of the time googling stuff online. Worst experience in health care ever. Don't go here unless you like throwing money away
Do not go here. My husband and I both had bad experience with office staff. Saw nurse practitioner jerry Lyon and he prescribed the first med that isn't covered by my insurance in 25 years. I kind of got a creepy feel from him. I called the clinic when I found out med would cost 380.00 and they said he's on vacation for two weeks.... Sorry I was pretty much out of luck. I asked if a dr could give me an alternate med and they said no and it took a week to get this answered as they would not call me back.
The doctor was friendly, but he told me the granuloma on my thumb was a wart and tried to freeze it off :( It was really painful. I tried another doctor I used to go to and she sent me to a dermatological surgeon immediately, and the granuloma was surgically removed. They were both very surprised that freezing was the course of action he took. I wouldn't go there with any sort of wound/ growth.
I made an appointment but the doctor wouldn't even see me. I needed a prescription refilled that I have been taking for years..thyroid replacement because I no longer have a thyroid. But the assistant told me that doctor wouldn't see me or write the prescription unless I agreed to come back again. I was in a tough situation because I was almost out of thyroid replacement pills and my insurance doesn't kick in till January 2016. I was just going to pay cash for my visit.
