Happy Bike-to-School Day, y'all! We started our day by rolling with Carrboro High School and the Carrboro High School MTB Team. Next a quick hot lap at the nearby trails, and then topped everything off on the way home with a sighting and collection of some wild edible mushrooms. #DawnPatrolWhenYouDontHaveToBeAtWorkTil10

Where do you bike in Carrboro? Do you feel safe? Please help the Town of Carrboro, NC update our Bike Plan!
Town ride – appropriate for all ages (children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult). Run what ya brung, ~6-10 miles
Road bike group ride, basic bike handling skills & clipless pedals necessary. 20-25 miles at 1516 mph
We will ride to Mapleview Ice Cream on Dairyland for a treat, then return to Clean Machine. Covering approximately 15 miles at 13-14 mph

Suzie Hosman will lead us from the shop to the Pumpkin Loop and around on the gravel roads in Carolina North Forest. Mix of road and gravel. Chill pace! If you don't have a gravel-oriented bike, a mountain bike is fine! The Mellow Monday series will rotate each Monday between a group road ride, a pedal out to Mapleview for ice cream, a gravel ride and a round-town fam-friendly cruise. Check out our Facebook events for more details. What a great way to start the week!
