This retirement home was built over 30 years ago and -- like many of its residents -- is definitely "Over the Hill". I have lived at the Clairmont less than a year and hardly a week goes by without a "maintenance crisis".i.e a broken clothes dryer in a communal laundry room took over 2 months to repair. Recently, a pipe in the fire sprinkling system was so old it rusted through and soaked part of the main dining room. Previously, a flood in the 3rd floor kitchen soaked the 2nd floor apartment below.
