I would have given this place five stars before Hurricane Irma because it was a great little place to visit while on Anna Maria Island but it is closed now for repairs. Hopefully over the next year, the restaurant and bar can be rebuilt when they replace the pier. It was a fun place to have a cold beer, listen to some live music, watch the people fishing and enjoy the wildlife such as manatees, dolphins and birds.
Brilliant sangrias, and the grouper is always amazing.
We always visit the pier, eat, and fish for a couple days. Allen, the bartender, was her attentive and gave us great tips on fishing. I hooked into something big that ended up breaking off. :/ but that's fishin!! We always have a great experience here!!
My daughter and I had cracked and they were really salty. Sauce to go with was salty too.
