We went into The Chopped Leaf around 12:30 p.m. on a Saturday to order lunch for our family. We ordered four wraps and a kids’ quesadilla. There was only one employee working during the busy lunch rush, which was surprising on its own. What made the experience much worse was that he was talking on his phone the entire time while preparing orders. He also was not wearing a hair net while handling and preparing food. I work just a few doors down and come here regularly for lunch and snacks. The customer service is always amazing, everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Great food and even better people. Always happy to support such a great local business!
One thinks this is the healthier choice for lunch but food is processed n feel heavy .
I ordered via DoorDash, had the make your own bowl and ingredients where missing and quantity was barely there for the price. You can make your own at home and not get charged extra for ingredients that was barely added or missing.
The food was mediocre and smaller portion. Soup watered down. The one employee who made the salad and soup order was on his ear buds and a call the entire time. He was on a personal call it appeared and didn’t meet the GF requests we had as he may not have understood due to his call and chatter with his person he was talking too. Will be looking into Alberta Health Services and safe food services. Those icky little things could fall in anyone’s food!
