I would have given this a lower score if it weren't for the great care givers/doctor. I say doctor, because there was 1! Just one in the middle of cold and flu season? I spent over 3 hours just to see the doctor. It was over 4 hours before we were able to leave. I should have just gone to the ER at that rate, at least at the hospital I could have occupied my 4 year old with a tv show. When the 2 hour mark came my child just wanted to go home and sleep in her bed. The worst part was I felt bad for the Doctor! We left well aft... read more
You never want to have a child stay in the hospital, however the experience was very comforting. The doctors and nurses and other staff were very attending to your needs to aloud you to focus on the matter of your childs care...
Dr. Handler is amazing. I would recommend his office to anyone that has a child with ear problems.
I honestly cannot say enough about this practice. We have been with them for 18 years. The most reliable physicians with a the best bedside manners. I am one happy parent with the care and respect we have received regardless of the insurance we have. My oldest daughter who is special needs feels comfortable with speaking with her Dr. and we have even gotten the permission to have her continue care up to the age of 23. Yahoo!!!!
Excellent care at CHOP primary care as always. My child who is rarely ill, was seen in the office the same morning that I called for an appointment. We were seen, evaluated, and given a treatment regimen to immediately get on the road to recovery. This office always takes all concerns seriously, and never makes you wait for a sick appointment. Its always wonderful to know that your child is getting the help they need. Chop definitely makes sure they get to the route of the problem and before they release your child, Chop makes sure you as the parent is properly educated about the issues at hand and make sure you have all prescriptions and never make you feel like your a bad parent. Chop is very supportive and helpful. Thank You Chop foe all you have done for me and my family. PS. I and my younger sister are former Chop patients.
