I loved the Chocolate Room and it's delicious Sweet Treats. They make great chocolates and homemade ice-cream and much more. A great atmosphere with friendly help I did not want my ice cream stake so I asked our server to put it in a different dish and he was very obliging that made me very Happy. Just say I am a chocoholic who was definitely in heaven!
The absolutely best vanilla ice cream I have had in New York. My husband bought 2 pieces of chocolate cake and a pint of vanilla ice cream for our anniversary. We were not going out because I am recovering from knee surgery. What a gift! So delicious. Home-made old fashioned simple vanilla ice cream and wonderful chocolate layer cake. My message: Don't forget to try the ice cream. Thank you Chocolate Room!
Stopped in Saturday after walking from Manhattan - great eats, for sure. But when I tried to buy the cake that was in the front display case, I was told I couldn't - they needed it - there were two cakes on the counter. Then I was told I could walk to the other store and "maybe get one there" - Really? I stop in ever couple of years, buy a cake and bring it back to the office. Too bad they messed up on customer service this time...
I'm off from work today and heading into Brooklyn for our visit to the most wonderful chocolate place in the WORLD!!!! ~ I'm ready to indulge <3
Words cannot describe how incredible The Chocolate Room's chocolate sorbet is. the rich chocolate flavor and unique texture is better than any ice cream- with or without dairy- in this area. I had to ask what ingredients they use to make this exquisite concoction because I couldn't imagine what could make it so creamy and rich, without any sort of milk. It turns out that it is the simplicity and quality of their ingredients, just cocoa and vanilla, that makes it so special.
