RecommendedEveryone i dealt with at Chimney Chap was very professional & easy to work with , from the beginning assessment & quote ,to the final clean up ....work done seems excellent & Jim was very pleasant ( & efficient and knowledgeable as well, even in dealing with my "unique" chimney that is more than 250 years old : ). Everyone i dealt with in the office got back to me when promised & made a difficult situation (with no heat & water ) much better !!
Quality finished job, pride in workmanship, great communication throughout the quote to completion. Scott and Ryan arrived as scheduled and left the area spotless. Would highly recommend.
Thanks for the wonderful staff who recently cleaned our dryer vents and also cleaned our wood-burning stove and chimney. Today cracks were fixed on the chimney. Great crew and really nice people. Shop local people!!

I have to say this place is Awesome!! Stopped in today to get some info on pellet stoves, what Great customer service this place actually took the time and showed me and explained to me about different types of pellet stoves and they have a awesome showroom to do that for you. I will be purchasing a pellet stove from this team !! Highly recommend this coming any 5 plus stars!!!
Came out for a cleaning job. Called to say they were going to be late. Showed up and looked up chiminey. Said they could not do job for lack of a tool they didnt bring. Told me i would be rescedualed. Sent me a bill for 99 dollors next day. Thats like hiring me to paint a porch and i show up and say gee,. I forgot to bring my special deck paintbrush! Ill come back later with it. Oh by the way you owe me 99 dollors!
I had Scott come out for a service call to clean out pellet stove, he was so informative. I know nothing about pellets and he gave me a mini lesson on how to properly fill the stove, how to reduce saw dust and just basic information on how to keep my stove cleaned in between yearly maintenance. Thanks Scott!
For some reason my first post was removed. I would assume the argument is that the review was about the South Shore Fireplace side of the business. However on pages like Angie's list, they have a combined page for both businesses. You can't have it both ways. Either you are one company or you're not. I'm not sure why they feel my review isn't "appropriate". Negative? Sure, but when you treat customers the way they treated us, you get negative reviews. If I could give no star...Continue Reading
