Dr. Bauer and her team are amazing. They always treat our unique family with kindness and respect. They are very attentive to our baby and informing us of any medical procedures needing to be done as well as letting us know what to expect for her next developmental milestones. A++++!
I had a very disappointing experience at the Stone Oak location. The staff seemed disorganized, and although the doctor was kind, she did not appear familiar with my daughter’s medical history or listen to my concerns. My daughter was given an IV medication I explained had made her sick before, and they still give it to her, she is still feeling unwell days later. When I called to ask if her being with the same symptoms was normal, the nurse that answered the phone was extremely rude. I would not recommend this location.
The Ortho group CRUSHED it! Our 2 yr old broke her arm…and Woody made it the greatest and most peaceful experience for her. I’m so thankful for good care.
Avoid unless you'd like to deal with billing issues. We've used this facility twice in the last two years and there's been issues with the billing/insurance each time. Earlier this year, even though we provided our primary and secondary insurance (Aetna/Tricare) to their staff, we later received an invoice that showed us as uninsured. Ok, no problem. Let's provide the insurance again. Too easy, right? Wrong. After many phone calls, it was finally sent to our primary insurance and sorted out. Then came another bill from EMBCC... read more
The medical staff is great. But beware of the billing- and ask before you have anything done. A sick child office visit is $300 (plus the cost for any test they run)- that’s with insurance. And when they give a vaccine- they charge an $80 fee for administering it plus the cost for the vaccine!
