My child had surgery here. There was no communication between staff. Nobody could decide whether she would be admitted overnight or discharged home after surgery. I’m writing to express my concern regarding my recent phone interaction with Kelly. As a mother who has been up all night with my 4-year-old undergoing multiple tests for possible appendicitis, I called to ask if I should bring medical records from a previous hospital visit, since I was seeking a second opinion. Horrible experience waited over 3 hrs and still never got into a room..
My wife spent two weeks in the psu than had to have a c section at 32 weeks. Our twin boys spent two months in the nicu here. I couldn’t be more pleased for the love, compassion, and support from the doctors and nurses. Our boys are home now and it couldn’t have happened if it wasn’t for the Children’s hospital. My family will forever be thankful.
