If I could give zero stars, I would. When I arrived at The Chifley, I wasn’t greeted by hotel staff — instead, there were plainclothes men blocking the entrance, yelling at guests, and telling me I couldn’t enter or check in. No signage, no uniforms, no notice. Just total chaos. Apparently, they were filming something at the hotel, but no one thought to notify paying guests or even provide basic courtesy. I loved this hotel so much. Very clean and beautiful space. The service was great as well.
