Incredible vegan food! I loved everything and enjoyed the quaint atmosphere. I would highly recommend this place!
Great food, pretty good service; the bartender did great, but one of the servers that bought our deserts seemed to have an attitude--like she didn't want to be there. Over all, id go back again..
I ate here for my entire stay in Chicago and I was never disappointed. Literally everything from here tasted amazing. The Chai Tea, Spicy Crispy Chik'n, Chocolate chip Cheesecake, Biscuits and Gravy (best item on the menu)... all were mind blowingly good. While the diner itself is on the small size the atmosphere and seating were still very comfortable. Also the servers are friendly and attentive.

I am not a vegan and do enjoy eating meat. But loved it. Staff was very patient and allowed me to ask questions about the menu. Reuben sandwich was excellent.
Ok so their veggie burger is thebomb. com. My friend and I split that and the Cuban and some vegan mac and cheese. It was all freaking amazing. Their waitstaff was super sweet and friendly and perceptive. And the $5 pbr and a shot deal
I love Chicago Diner!!!!!!!!!!!!. They have two locations. The Milwaukee Avenue is the newer location. My favorites are Reuben Sandwich and Country fried steak with Thai Chili wings appetizer, and cheesecake for dessert. The ambiance is eclectic. I live in Naperville. The 45 min drive is so worth driving for The Chicago Diner!
