Charged for breakfast that I never had. And added tip too. The audacity!!!!
This was our second time at The Chatwal, and it confirmed why we came back. Small boutique hotel in the theater district; the suites are huge (rare in New York) with big, well-appointed bathrooms. The staff is attentive as you can only find in a small place. Keep one practical thing in mind: getting in and getting out by car (your driver or an Uber) is slow, since you have to cross Times Square, which can add ten extra minutes to every ride. I have to be very honest and frank here. This is a very underwhelming hotel. Send the photos and the outside may look like a premier hotel but once you step inside, you realize quickly that this once used to be a five star hotel, but it has since lost its charm is a lot of potential, but it is dated and it needs a lot of work.
