I see Dr Neil Miller. I like him. He can take a joke. He has a good sense of humor and personality. Since I came to him in December with MVP and PVCs, diagnosed by my doctor in Florida, he picked up right where my Florida doctor left off, but he didn't settle there. I'd told him that I knew the valve would need to be replaced some day and it would need to be "REPLACED, not clips (whatever that means)" That's what my Florida doctor told me. We wanted to use the surgeon that saved my life and is close to our house. We were told it would be around 3 weeks before they made a decision. They called weeks later and said we have to pay over 700.00 in full in order to see the doctor for a check up. Before this we had called several times because I still had chest pains. They said sometimes you can just have pains after surgery which we said we understood. However I called back with worse pains and they said I need a check up. Now I cannot come due to money.
I got to visit NP Carol Wilbanks for my heart issues and she is simply amazing! Thorough and informative and listened to my concerns. I cannot recommend her highly enough... I'd give her a 10 if it were possible!! TY Chattanooga Heart Institute of Ringgold!! ❤️
If your appointment is at the N. GEORGIA location (In 2025 during construction) be sure to arive early(navigation and parking can be challenging)
Came here 7 years ago and loved my doctor. Called today to schedule an appointment and was told I count as a new patient and they do not take self pay new patients. Was told to ask at Erlanger. Memorial is known as the gold standard for cardiology. Denying patients the best care just because they do not have health insurance is unacceptable.
