These apartments are infested with roaches. They will tell you they are treated but its literally just maintenance using a lowes home improvement bug treatment. My friend moved in and there was broken glass on the floor of the kitchen, over 20 roaches in one night, mold in the bathroom and men outside drinking all night long. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place like the plague!
This is a big post, since adding multiple reviews seems difficult! For context, I am a graduate student who lives alone. I moved into The Chateau Apartments in the fall of 2024, and have been more than happy with everything, and this is just based on the property alone. I moved here recently from out of state. The ladies in the office were exceptionally accommodating during my move in. Chuck and the maintenance team have been fantastic in remedying any issues I've had. It's very economically priced. I would recommend it wholeheartedly. I wanted to update my review to reflect how a recent maintenance request. I put in a work order about some dripping faucets in my apartment, and Chuck rectified the issue in only a day or two. When I first signed lease I was asked by the management staff I was asked by the management to write a good review. I did so because I thought that this was going to be nice comfortable living. I have most certainly been in for a ride. I have had such issues of cracks in the walls, a stained cracking ceiling, clogged pipes, ( I even had to call the Town of Carrboro to get them fixed because maintenance would just put some kind of tablet in the pipes and would tell me to give it time.Only for the pipes to clog again.)
