We refurnished two Brumby porch rockers and needed someone to cane the backs and the seats for us. It is a complicated process because it's woven on both the back and front of the rockers. After searching for about six months for someone to do the work, we found Del. His rate was reasonable, he took excellent care of our chairs and delivered them sooner than we anticipated. The craftmanship is wonderful and we highly recommend him.
Unbelievably bad job at replacing the cane seats on our chairs and damaging the wooden part in the process. Not sure what to do with the chairs now. We can sit on them but they are ugly to look at. They were new, not antique and no damage other than sagging and torn webbing.
Del was easy & quick to communicate with. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of chairs. Our two chairs came back carefully restored.
