This office is amazing, from the doctors, nurse practitioner and physician assistant. They are all very caring and always meet my needs. The front desk and medical assistants run the office so efficiently. If you’re looking for good quality care in Cooper City look no further!! Lab drawing station on site so you don’t have to go sit and fight at the labs for appointments.
I’ve been a patient of Dr. Barroso for many years and truly appreciate his personable nature, accuracy, and genuine care. However, I wanted to share some feedback about my recent experience with the front desk staff. I have been going to Dr Barroso for years fir yearly check ups. Recently I had a medical condition where I needed to see Dr Barroso. I called the office multiple times to request and appoint with Dr Barroso. They said he can not see me that he's booked and never gave me an appointment. I don't recommend this office at all. The Dr is never available. In addition Dr Barroso completely mis diagnosed my condition some time early during my yearly check up. This Dr is unavailable and the service in the office is very poor.
I generally have an appointment with the PA. The PA is aware of my background and my desire to have someone I can trust as a main medical contact. I have insurance that does not require me to go to a primary but I prefer to go to the primary so someone knows all the different conditions I am managing and the treatments to ensure there isn't a conflict. The PA and staff are very warm and friendly. My only negative comment is having to pay an additional copay to view labs from a previous visit.
