"Fox Facts" The Fox's were known as "the beer makers" in Ireland. Legend has it that one of our ancestors got caught "borrowing" a horse named Lucky who was hooked up to a wagonload of beer. He was forced to work off the debt owed by working in the brewery were he then mastered the art of brewing ale. Celtic or Sell-tic? It's Celtic (Kel-tic). The 'c' is pronounced like a 'k'.
