These cabins are set in the middle of the Heathcote II vineyard and olive orchard. There is a beautiful view from the balcony. We enjoyed the lovely sunset while sipping on our wine and it was magical. The cabins are well equipped with everything you would need plus a wine cellar with superb wines from around the world. The heating / cooling system is quick and responsive, showers are great (big thick Sheridan towels) and the breakfast goodies they provide are wonderful - big loaf of sourdough bread and Danish butter, eggs, ... read more
Aside from being super accomodating hosts and amazing at the cellar door, Peder and Lionel have created a romantic and relaxing haven in Heathcote. The cellar boasts an incredible selection of wines, both local and international, at prices that’d rival your standard bottle-shop. The bed was beyond comfortable, and the curtain open/close and master light switch beside the bed a stroke of genius for when you inevitably can’t be bothered to get up. One of life's signature experiences! The warm and embracing 'Hygge' and the expansive outlook made it difficult to leave and explore the area! The aesthetic and attention to detail in our villa was sublime, even down to the Danish butter and home made jam. Felt like we were completely hidden and yet connected to the environment!
What an experience! From the moment we arrived and drove through the olive grove we knew this was going to be perfect. The in room wine cellar is such a fun feature! Lionel and Peder are so helpful and knowledgeable. We look forward to the next visit!
