Bartender was rude, rolled her eyes about our drink order. Apparently if you want a glass of water after 5 rounds of drinks for 8 people you have to go over by the door and serve yourself out of a cooler! There isn’t even ice or glasses. Poor customer service. If someone wants water they should get it at the bar without an attitude.

Unless you want to pay for overpriced watered down drinks or be screamed at while having your drink snatched out of your hand by an overly hostile bartender spend your money elsewhere. This is not the first time I’ve had this type of experience there either. Worst bar service I’ve ever had in the last 10 years. If it hadn’t been the 4th of July and the only bar open I would never have gone. Also— I was not carded. Pretty sure that’s illegal.
Ended up running to Carbondale to catch a book give away at BookWorm. Went w good friend and a special friend I hadnt seen in a long time..Cool basement atmosphere...super friendly bartender and hilarious characters at the bar...Bloody Marys and beers...relaxing fun! Great way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
My boyfriend and I frequent The Cellar(and Saluki) a lot. We love the underground atmosphere, the bartenders are super nice, and it's a great place to just relax and have drinks. I love it here.

I love this place! My boyfriend and I come here to play pool and have a few drinks. The bloody mary's are super yummy and the atmosphere is laid-back. Always a good experience meeting new people at the pool table and listening to music on the juke box.
This is where all your hopes and dreams come true. Plus, great service. Worth the trip. Best bartenders in the world.
