We so very much enjoyed our dinner here, inadvertently ordering vegetarian dishes that were delicious and beautifully plated. So many wonderfully creative choices! My personal highlight was the honey creme brulee. I've had many creme brulees in my life, but by far this was the best. Next time we travel through Corning, we'll be back!
Our waitress appeared too busy to focus on each table. Our appetizers were yummy. Our entrees were just ok. The chicken and waffles is spicy. I ordered a dirty gin martini. After a bit our waitress stopped to ask what I had ordered from the bar. Not realizing she didn’t quite get it the first time I said no when she asked if it was unusual. I had ordered a dirty gin martini with olives. I received a gin martini.
Great food and service. You can really taste the difference in the quality at The Cellar compared with other restaurants in the area. They are above average in price as well, but well worth it. We had the chicken and waffles, and the Kobe steak entrees. Both were absolutely delicious! We also liked the rounded booths which really made for a cozy date night.
