My friend was transferred to the cedars in December 2025 on a section 3 which should’ve meant she received an intense level of care and support. Instead what happened was just days after her arrival she was rushed back to A&E and admitted to the ICU where she passed away. Can’t help but ask how this happened but clearly she wasn’t cared for enough. I am only leaving one star so I can leave a review. They don’t even deserve that.
I was very well looked after by the whole team from the trainee nurses to the phycologists. I cant remember the 1st 3 weeks of my stay as i had a psycotic episode. But once on the ward i was treated with respect, empathy , friendly nurses and staff. The food was beautiful and i ended up from hating the staff believing they were there to harm me ( phsycosis) to loving all the nurses and staff. They are experienced, strong and so helpful. Brilliant staff we are looked after very well. I hope I get out of here before Xmas. Staff have a lot of respect for the patients
I'm giving 5 stars, because I've been informed today my son has been transferred from Junipers Ward to Delderfield Ward. I can't fault Junipers or the Dr there who met with me once, and I'm praying this ward will help my son and not rush him out as I know he's still very unwell. I am worried whether my son will be under a different Dr now and from reviews on here, be discharged too fast. I so want to have renewed faith in Devon Partnership NHS MH Trust, that my son will receive the 24/7 Care he was deemed as needed for life ... read more
