I'm giving 5 stars, because I've been informed today my son has been transferred from Junipers Ward to Delderfield Ward. I can't fault Junipers or the Dr there who met with me once, and I'm praying this ward will help my son and not rush him out as I know he's still very unwell. I am worried whether my son will be under a different Dr now and from reviews on here, be discharged too fast. I so want to have renewed faith in Devon Partnership NHS MH Trust, that my son will receive the 24/7 Care he was deemed as needed for life ... read more
Disgusting treatment to patients and 0 support or reassurance to family members who call up concerned!!! Cut all contact to family members not agreed to by the patient , even when family members are worried sick and haven’t heard their family members voice since they entered their care!! And when asked to speak to them you get told to call back the next day and the next day comes and still the same answer!!! This place is actually quite shocking and at times, negligent. Some of the staff members really care about their patients, however as it seems, some consultants are too quick to rush people out the doors to free up bed space. My mum was taken off of a section 3 early, and let back into the community with no care package. It was myself who had to pick up the pieces and put things into place for her.
