The car shoppe advertised a deal of $5 down on any vehicle to finance- guaranteed. Online on their website https://www.thecarshoppeny.com/ and on their social media pages, over the phone with Nick and in the store on a big banner with absolutely no fine print. I called to confirm that was true on Monday August 11th, 2023, in which it was confirmed with no fine print whatsoever by nick. First, the Car Shoppe I dealt with was on Route 9 in Queensbury, NY. Bought a 2011 **** ****for $16,000. Put $5,000 down. They praised me for having such good credit and patience while they made some repairs, new parts including so-called eco burst lines. Didn't see paperwork or the truck 'till toward the end of the deal, about a week and half. They said they would deliver the truck to me. This was February of 2019. An old woman delivered it. Business response:
I personally spoke to Mr **** and asked him to come into the store to have any issues addressed. He never came into store, and did not call back after messages were left for him. His only complaint when I spoke to him was that he wanted us to clean his battery terminals. The issues being stated here were never brought to my attention.
Unprofessional and untrustworthy dealer. They clear engine lights and then illegally inspect vehicles before turning it over to the purchaser to drive home where the engine light that was SUPPOSE to be fixed, comes back on. They will then avoid the problem and try to CHARGE you to fix it and or tell you there’s “no records” of it.
