This place is first class!!!!!! – My wife and I went for dinner tonight. We called for a 8:30 reservation and the hostess they only had 9:30 and after. I took the reservation on the time they had available. About 3 hours later I got a call from the General Manager who let me know that the 8:30 reservation I initialy requested was available. BEST STEAKS, BEST SERVICE, BEST WINE LIST! – My wife and I went to dinner on Wed. night. It was out of this world! Definatley call for reservations, We had to wait 45 min for a patio table. I can't wait to eat in the main dining room!
The Capital Grille – We went to the Capital Grille for my husband's birthday. There were six in our party. We had reservations so we were seated immediately. The waitress was sweet and very knowledgable about the menu. We ordered several different types of the encrusted steaks and one fish dish. Everyone enjoyed their steak and each was cooked to perfection. We shared a lobster appetizer. We all had a great time and it was the best steak I've ever eaten. The side dishes were awesome. Nice place.
Missed the mark in its menu staple – Upon my arrival at the Capital Grille I was very pleased with the ambiance and decor. The hostess was very helpful in seeing me to the bar. Need better servers and Management – Poor service and sub par food. Cookie cutter standards with robotic servers. Funny how CG is owned by Rare who owns Longhorn. Longhorn Servers have fun and have personalities not robotic like CG, Take LH servers any day.
The Capital Grille "5197 Big Island Dr at St john Town Center – It was the first time our friends and i have been at the The Capital Grille.The Service was great the food was good it was our friend Birthday.The staff of the Grille treated us well.They took a picture of us and put in a birthday card and signed it from the Capital Grille.Oh yes they gave us a glass of champagne to celebrate her Birthday.I can tell you we will be back.Thank you Capital Grille
Don't waste your money....poor management. – Jacksonville's Capital Grill has a long way to go to keep up the reputation of the chain. I just recently dined at the Capital Grill in Orlando and the customer service and the food quality was far superior than that of Jacksonville. My daughter and I had lunch at the Capital Grill at Towne Center last week. The dry aged steaks were heavily charred and overwhelmed the taste of the steaks.
