Response to 10-5-10 Review Due to the anonymity of this reviewer, we cannot be sure who submitted this. We were expecting a poor review however from a young man with a very spiteful disposition. This fellow was given a Notification of a Lease Breach when his dog was found to be repeatedly barking once the occupants left the pet alone in the unit. We are talking about 1-2 minutes of continuous barking every time a noise was made in the hallway (eg. a passerby going to his/her unit). This Tenant removed the dog from the unit b... read more

Horrible! Dirty, dark, asbestos, roaches, crack heads in alley... Rude owners (a married couple) and bad management. All for 1100 a month. Keep looking. (Edited December 02, 2010)

Unsafe & Depressing Look at all the reviews, there is obviously problems with this place. Look at the landlord responses, they are dismissive at best, delusional at worst... Maybe. I personally got hit-up for change by the homeless drunks who sleep near the alley entrance of the building. A dirty and depressing place with detached and rude management. Far better deals in every aspect, just a few blocks in any direction. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this expensive glorified youth hostel. And how is Jack (me) anonymo... read more

not at all worth it I stayed at the Cambridge from mid to the end of 2008. I was frustrated by the poor air circulation and the poor condition my apartment was in when I arrived. Whenever i had a minor complaint, I could not get in touch with the landlord, who I later found out was a very rude and inconsiderate man. I also had a huge problem with roaches in my apartment, which is ultimately why i left. Great location, but The Cambridge itself is not worth the high priced lease.

Great Location Being so close to 16th street and Lo Do, the options of places to go to and things to do were endless. I was able to go for runs outside as well as join the YMCA which is right down the street, I found parking in a covered garage nearby, and had many options for restaurants, bars, and shops to go to. The location of the building was very convenient. I was a tenant for three months and did not have any complaints. It worked out well being a short term, furnished apartment building. I would recommend this buildi... read more

Convenient Location The Cambridge apartment is conveniently located in downtown Denver, right off of the 16th Street Mall, walking distance to the grocery store, drug store, and lots of great restaurants and bars. The Pepsi Center and Coors Field are nearby as well. It is a great place to stay if you want to experience downtown Denver. It is a quaint building with furnished apartments- perfect for someone without a car who will be in Denver on a short term basis.

A great stay at The Cambridge The Cambridge proved to be an excellent location for my summer stay in Denver. The convenient location was a short walk from work (in a downtown office building), dining, shopping and more. The free Mall Ride bus is just two blocks away, providing free transportation to even more dining and shopping alternatives. There was plenty of parking nearby, so I rarely had to think about my car. The accommodations were clean and comfortable, and on-site laundry was very convenient. And the service was fa... read more

Great Denver Location I spent three months in The Cambridge apartment building during the summer of 2008. The building’s location is unbeatable – located just blocks from the 16th Street Mall, the State Capitol and many great food and bar options on West Colfax and 17th Street. There are multiple bus stops within blocks and the FREE 16th Street Shuttle can be used for easy access to Denver’s famous LoDo neighborhood, The Pepsi Center and Coors Field. Great apartment for someone who doesn’t own a car. The building management ... read more

The Cambridge sucks Worst renting mistake I ever made. Expensive and poor service. The building is in need of serious renovations. I think my couch had fleas. It apparently was a nice hotel at one point and now is shabby and rundown. The management staff are difficult to deal with. The apartments are not in good shape. Don't make my mistake. Look harder than just on the internet.
