It was my first time walking in. I walked in around 9am on a Saturday to ask if they accepted walk ins and had any availability for a cut and styling. The front desk young woman explained the pricing, she mentioned it was $50 for a cut and $60 for a cut and styling. Then she let me know someone was available then. Aliyah was great. I came in with damaged hair and lots of split ends, only knowing I wanted more volume, something to even out my texture (I have kinky curly hair in the front and a light wave in the back), something that would give my hair more shape, and a change. Aliyah was very patient in helping me figure out what would work best for my hair type, and taking into consideration my styling routine. UPDATE: The Salon owner Emily called and spoke with me on the phone and she was absolutely lovely. She offered to gave my come in and fix it or refund my entire service (I opted for the refund). Several days letter I received a hand written apology letter with my refund stapled. While I did not have a good hair experience from one of the employees, there the follow up after the fact was great. I've been going to Aimee for all of my hair needs for a few months now. She is fantastic and incredibly sweet and fun to talk to. She changed my dark brown hair to an amazing rose gold over the course of two sessions and I was astounded by how amazing it looked! I've never had anyone I could call "my stylist" before, as none of the previous places/stylists I've tried really left much of an impression. I have only ever had amazing experiences here at the Cachet, mostly in part to the co-owner Linda and especially my stylist, Brylie. Brylie and the staff are professional, courteous, and have me smiling and laughing in the chair every appointment I've made. I drastically changed the length of my hair, and Brylie did an amazing job educating me on how to style my new cut to recreate the magic she did in the salon. If you're looking for a new "go-to" person for your salon needs, look no further!
