Terrible service I made the terrible mistake of taking my wife, mother and grandmother to the Cabin for mothersday brunch. We had made reservation and arrived on time to begin our meal. After about 45 minutes, a waitress approached to let us know that our time was up and others were waiting for the table. The worst food ever!! Last night we went to the Cabin for a family dinner. There were nine of us,and of the nine, eight of us hated our meal. Mine was not even edible, and the flavor of the rest of the food was non-existent. When the waitress asked if I liked it and my answer was no, she responded, "Oh well, I like it". Food poisoning On June 3rd my husband and I ate at The Cabin; it was our first time there. Our reward was food poisoning. After one bite my husband's burger, that was way overcooked, did not taste or smell fresh, and it wasn't. I tasted it as well and we agreed that the meat was bad. We told our server and she offered to make us another one. Which was amusing because why would we want another bad burger. We were not even offered another dish. A bit pricey! We have gone to the Cabin several times for special family dinners (birthdays, anniversaries), and each time have left feeling that we spent a lot more than it was worth, and.... why did we do this again? They have an excellent chef and an upscale menu, but I doubt that we would return again because of the prices. Service was not outstanding, either.
