We’ve been enjoying the melodramas since the 80’s and are so excited that the Butte Theater is continuing the tradition! this year has a great show based on actual Cripple Creek history, and some great talent. These women can really belt it out! From grandpa to his grand daughters, there was plenty of fun for all. Boo and hiss away at a great villian, and cheer and hooray the hero! RecommendedMy family have been coming here for more than 20 years. This is, without a doubt, one of the best things to do in all of Cripple Creek! It is great fun for families, and it is impossible not to feel the infectious earnest joy that the actors clearly felt while performing. Visiting the Butte Theater definitely should be on your bucket list.
If you haven't seen Forever Plaid yet, all I can say is you're missing a tremendous show. Good enough to make you want to go back for an encore!
I’ve only been to a couple showings here but I’m never disappointed! Last nights opening was the best yet! ‘The Mystery of Irma Vep’ was the best performance I’ve seen yet! Christopher Onken and Levi Penley pulled off timely costume changes that felt like magic. With only two actors playing multiple roles leaving you laughing and intrigued by their skills and talents of what a stellar year the Butte is going to have! I saw 'The Mystery of Irma Vet' tonight, it was very well done and crazy funny! I was impressed with the actors Christopher Joel Onken and Levi Penley.....great entertainment!
