I personally witnessed an employee charging a customer a tip fee that the customer had not agreed to. What made the situation even more concerning was that I then saw them doing the same thing with the following customer. When another employee noticed that I was looking directly at the POS system and observing what was happening, she quickly redirected my attention to another room. Fast service, friendly staff. They are always ready to accommodate my needs.
This is a no frills Cuban cafeteria, authentic with a relaxed vibe. The food is excellent. I've never really noticed the bread when eating a pan con bistec or a Cuban sandwich, but the bread here is so good you notice it when you take a bite. They also do catering orders which we've used for several parties including Noche Buena. Definitely recommend this place to anyone seeking Cuban comfort food.
