Don't waste your time or money, they don't even service what they put in. I wouldn't recommended them to my worst friends.

I entered into a contract with Bob Burpee/ The Burpee Group in January with a completion date of May. Bob has an ability to make you trust him, and he is a likable person. However, I wish I would have trusted what I heard about Bob and his reputation as a pool builder. Bob took weeks past the promised dig day to finally dig my pool. Then, for weeks on end no one showed up. I wouldn’t even know where to start in terms of a review for the Burpee Group/Bob burpee. We contracted with Bob in January with a promised completion date of May. However, it wasn’t until late in July the pool had water in it. Bob went weeks without sending one person to my house. Bob uses a crew of people who don’t speak English and has one main guy named Ruben who speaks some English doing gas lines, plumbing, and electric when he is not licensed. Do yourself a favor, hire someone else Bob Burpee is a great, personable salesman. This is about where the positive parts of Bob & the Burpee group end. He'll say he's been in business for 25-30+ years- but do yourself a favor, check into this first. The Burpee Group was founded in 2010...every 10 years he gets a new name. You'll see numerous reviews about Bob not paying subcontractors, which is true. Bob will try to use very little subcontractors, having untrained workers doing jobs licensed trained workers should be doing.... read more

The Burpee Group is not reliable. We hired them to completely refurbish a pool - a six digit project. The initial work went pretty well. But the follow-up service has been horrendous. For a project of this scope, I expect at least the courtesy of a phone call and a commitment to take care of some service issues (cracked tiles, moving pavers, and the like). Overall, working with he Burpee Group is not worth it.

The Burpee Group put in a pool with attached spa. The installed a paver patio around the pool then completed all the landscaping in the backyard beds. The job ran totally on schedule and flawlessly. Bob was wonderful to deal with. He was at the job site almost every day and completely oversaw the project through all the phases. His crew was professional and very friendly.
