An amazing venue! The concert felt like a private party with 100 of our closest friends.
Our entire party of four found the chairs extremely uncomfortable. We were there for a comedy show, and would have had a better time had we not been in such discomfort. I mean really skinny chairs with almost no padding that are foldable, they feel insubstantial as though they could break, and are virtually guaranteed to numb your butt over the course of a short performance. The Bur Oak is a great concert venue, but it also makes for a lovely place to have a wedding reception. We had ours here with approximately 90 guests, and it made for a cozy atmosphere (for dinner) and a fun one (for dancing)! The staff at the Bur Oak are also wonderful-the bartenders, sound engineer, and event coordinator (Jenny) worked with us to make an event we will always remember. The venue is also very cute, and they have amazing in-house sound and lighting. I would really recommend having your wedding here!
