I experienced what I felt was prejudice last night in the form of cancelling Richard Raw's show who, I'd might add, is a strong positive leader in our community and someone you would want to support and to support you, especially in these troubled societal times we live in today. Not classy. At all.
Very unprofessional what happened last night. You should never shut down an all ages event 15 minutes before it's supposed to start. Bad business!! Would not recommend to a friend or anyone.
Maybe if your team took time to research the cancelled act, you wouldn't have been so hasty to act on impulse. Maybe the "anonymous tipper" was that much more important to you organization. The one thing I do know is that Hip-Hop is not what you see on television, at all. This culture and genre is NOT the watered down trickle of "talent" that the media glorifies.
