Everyone there was great and very welcoming except for the Tech Pierre and the Nurse Ellery. They treated me like I was a nuisance and their demeanor wasn't friendly. But other than that I would recommend anyone to get help from here! It was a blast and the specialized therapy groups were always fun and the food was great!
I was admitted to the adolescent summit unit. I was there for a month and 4 days. Great staff, other than Mr. Will, who showed up with an attitude and took his problems out on us, and skipped my and my roommates' names on the laundry list twice. Other than that, my time was great. Mr. Lucas, Mr. Slassi, and Nurse Rhonda were the KINDEST people and most supportive while I was admitted; it didn't matter who you were, why you were there. They treat you like a mature human. Communication was terrible. I admitted my child for to the acute side so he could transfer to the star program. I was told because my child is 15 he didn’t have a say on whether or not he wanted to do the program. After doing the actue side, I was told he didn’t qualify because he didn’t want to do the program and he hasn’t had 3 failed hospitalizations. Other staff seemed surprised that they let my child decide whether or not he wanted to do the program…. Really disappointed that I couldn’t get my son the help that he neede... read more
