My 91 year old father is in Broadmoor nursing home. They moved him to a hospital (the wrong one) without our permission. It took three days and only found out from a neighbor who happened to text. He was brought back and I’m on a week without them letting me speak to him, his caseworker contacting me, or me even knowing if he’s alive. This is apparently normal for them now.

Most of the nursing staff have horrible personalities and treat patients without compassion. My mom could ring for the nurse and it could take over 30 minutes to have someone come in. Horrible experience 21 days of misery before checking her out of this place. I was a prisoner in their facility in order to care for my Mother. If you are there, they do nothing, know nothing. When gone watching with cameras, they do nothing. So if you want a bed for your loved one to lay in and never be cared for, this is the place!

So far, we are pleased with what we see. The staff have been very attentive and helpful.

We currently have our most senior member of our family at the Broadmoor. Unfortunately, this facility reflects medical care services in this nation. The building may be fine and it may be full of patients with the service and support is horrendous. When talking to a healthcare professional they said well all the places are like that these days. So you may have a choice but in reality you have no choice. Extremely poor
