We’ve lived here less than a year and we’re leaving as soon as our lease is up. I’ve had to submit maintenance requests about the same issue multiple times before anything’s gotten fixed. Our lock on the front door was jammed and broken when we moved in and it took 3 separate maintenance calls to actually get it replaced. Very frustrated, Taylor had been on the call with me and my boyfriend and claimed I am not in the lease despite the paperwork I signed. She claimed I was “screaming” when I wasn’t and rudely hung up on the conversation about bills that were unreasonably charged for our move fees. She also disclosed information that we were unaware of and was very unprofessional. I've lived here for 4 years, and overall it's been nice, but time to move on. The area is safe and the neighbors are generally friendly. Dog mess in the yards is a constant issue, however, and some people still smoke on their patios/balconies despite the rule against it. The buildings were constructed in 1970 and the plumbing certainly shows; I had frequent leak problems in my unit as a result of busted pipes, and so did the units above me. Edit: I was billed several hundred dollars more than expected for move-out costs (there was one charge for a change I had made that had previously been discussed with management and was acceptable and not what I am complaining about), despite having FULLY cleaned the apartment myself and having left the rest of it in better condition than when I moved in.
